Faculty of Architecture, General and Master English Program
Tuesday 12.15-14.00 /distance learning: Teams & Moodle platform/
Detailed schedule for students enrolled in the course:
In addition to traditional typological solutions (wall-slab-roof, etc.), it may be necessary to use non-Euclidean geometries in architecture. That is why knowledge of double-curved surfaces or freeform geometries is important. During the semester, students gain an insight into the basics of freeform surfaces, shapes modeling, and digital representation through professional 3D design software. Students will learn about various NURBS-based modeling techniques, basic visualization and technical illustrations.
NURBS modeling techniques, curves and surfaces usage/classification/evalutation, A-class surfaces, Control Vertices, Bezier, digital fabrication, Rhino 3d, transformation

Due to the health crisis situation announced in the Government Decree (283/2020. (VI. 17.)), the first week - introductory - lesson of the Freeform Modeling course will be taken as distance learning.
